(00Z Aug 27) and ends at 10am Sunday August 28, 2011 (14Z Aug 28),
covering a 38 hour period. The file format is .mov and the size is 7.4MB.

February 2010 snow event, which was a high impact event for Northern Virginia.

in early April 2010. Not very exciting, but it did drop temeratures 25 degrees
from one day to the next.

radar, and RUC analyzed SLP and 500mb heights. Mouse-over the left column of
tabs to select or psuedo-animate the images. Note the long-lived tornadic supercell
located near the Mississippi River over NE Louisiana at 16Z, moving across the state
of Mississippi through 20Z.
